Funding Results

Now more than ever, charities and non-profits are playing a key role in addressing persistent and complex social problems faced by all communities. This $400 million dollar investment from the Government of Canada responds to what Community Service Organizations need right now. The Community Services Recovery Fund supports organizations as they adapt to the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and continue serving their communities. 

Funded projects across the country will enable important and necessary solutions for Community Service Organizations to adapt and recover from the pandemic and continue their critical work to support people in their communities. With projects kicking off this year, we look forward to seeing this Fund come to life. Almost 5,500 Community Service Organizations from coast to coast to coast have received funding to build their organizational capacity and adapt for COVID-19 pandemic recovery.
